Understanding Consumer Trends in Marketing Channel Behaviour and Acceptance

The British Marketing Survey is not just another snapshot report about marketing channels. It is an ongoing, fully analysable database of the monthly trends in -

  • Receipt of channels

  • Response to channels

  • Future response to channels

  • Acceptability of channels

  • Receipt from commercial sectors

  • Acceptability of messages from commercial sectors

  currently covering 18 marketing channels, and 21 industry sectors. 



As part of The British Population Survey it provides this information against a detailed background of comprehensive demographic data.

It provides marketers with an understanding of the relative strengths and weaknesses of each channel relative to any other, and, because it also has the demographic detail, channel information can be analysed by target groups of individuals.

Analysis can be performed to inform:
