The British Population Survey

For the first time a robust, up to date demographic study of the population of Great Britain is available for anyone to use.

The data provides a comprehensive picture of the population and provides the opportunity to understand any group of people and look at changes over time.

Family make up and circumstances  Geography - where they live, population density  Economic - income, employment, education, home tenure etc  Media consumption - TV stations, regular daily and sunday newspapers  Computer ownership, Internet access and usage  Ownership of consumer durables including such as; DAB Radio, DVD Recorders, games consoles etc. Main supermarket used, Car ownership Ethnicity etc.

The data is supplied in DataTalk Explorer, our powerful, yet simple to use, interrogation software. It provides the ability to perform complex filtering and cross tabulations with the output being in either a range of graphs or data tables. All outputs can be easily exported into major word processor, spreadsheet and presentation software, and similar programmes.
